Happy 10 years of Lego building!

It's pretty amazing that ten years ago we were just starting on our adventure as a married couple (are we really that old?!?!). Five moves, living with both sets of our parents at different times, two precious little girls, a NICU stay, a wound vac, more stitches than we can remember, a hit and almost run by a drunk driver, camping trips, Nerf guns and paintball, five scrapbook albums, and a trip to Hawaii that was ten years in the making! Who knows what the next ten years will bring but I'm sure another ten scrapbooks and maybe a blog will capture many of our memories!

P365- Bye Bye March!

March 23rd
This winter has been so wet!  Pumpkin looks forward to rainy days so she can wear her "kitty boots" and jump into puddles.  Our driveway is full of good puddles and make for a fun afternoon. . . until she realizes that she is wet!
March 24th
Sweet Pea meet baby!  She was finally able to hold her new cousin.  She loved holding him and just would stare at him.  So cute.  I don't know if he was as fond of her as she was of him.  She especially liked giving him his binky!  Pumpkin enjoyed seeing him, but hasn't wanted to hold him yet.  Maybe next time.

Someone is trying to do sommersaults. . .or forward rolls if you are in the gymnastics world!  Sweet Pea is our dancer/daredevil!  Cute and scary all at the same time!

March 26th
An act of Mommy's love. . .Pumpkin's flower girl dress was a little too big.  My mom came over and helped me alter her dress to make it fit her better.  I was insistent that I do the majority of the work so I would have more experience in alterations and so Mom actually sat back and let me do it! The dress was fully lined so the shoulders were a little challenging.  Then I had to hem it. . .four layers!  Lining, crinoline, satin, and organza.  I hope I never have to sew organza for a long long time.

March 27th
All ready!  Dress, shoes, headpiece. . .she's complete!  Now I just hope she makes it down the aisle next weekend!

March 28th
Have I mentioned the girls love it when Daddy is home?!?!  He does silly things that Mommy would never do.  They had a blast on the trampoline with Daddy.  When they would fall off they would giggle and get right back on him.

March 29th
Backyard redo. . .take 158!  Haha  Our backyard has gone through many changes since my in-laws bought this property.  I hope this is the beginning of the last one!  Bye bye old bumpy, uneven grass.  Hello nice new grass and eventually a play structure!  Watch for the updates as the summer progresses.

March 30th
Bedtime with Daddy.  Enjoying a good book with Daddy.  I loved hearing him trying to sing the tunes to her how to tie my shoes book.  Too cute.  Next time I have to get that on video!
