p365- The Never-ending Halloween

Oct 25th
Her first field trip!  They week to the pumpkin patch in Reedley and Daddy was able to go too!  They had a fun day and even got to ride on a big yellow school bus!!!

Oct 26th
Cheap labor!  Sweet Pea loves to help wash windows!  Who cares that her cousins were over. . .she just wanted to help mom! 

 

Oct 27th
Fun with the boy cousins!  Pumpkin and Cousin K-Love (as she calls him!) are such good buddies.  It is fun watching them play together. . .even as they are about to get in trouble right after this picture!

Oct 28th
Our second annual harvest party!  So much fun to have all our family and friends over for this again.  This year it grew. . .and grew. .. and grew!  The girls had a blast and we can't wait to do it again next year!


Oct 29th
Church harvest festival!  Daddy ran his paintball booth and I took the girls around the Trunk-r-Treating area.  They had so much fun!


Oct 30th
Painting Pumpkins!  So much easier for my girls than carving.  Sweet Pea was so focused and knew exactly how she wanted to paint hers. . .apparently purple!


Oct 31st
Halloween is finally here!!!  For the first time we were able to go with ALL of the cousins on Mommy's side.  Such a treat to have everyone together and nice to have the big kids to help carry the little ones.

Look what we inherited!  Thanks mom for the piano! We love it!

Oct 18th
My little Sweet Pea is obsessed with this Elmo puzzle!  She loves to put it together and then take it apart!


Oct 19th
"Mommy I paint!"  My cute little helper found her own way to paint.  We have been busy painting the living area and she has been watching.  Good thing her paint is just pretend!



October 20th
Yummy cupcakes!  Love that little tongue!


Oct 21st
School carnival.  The girls had so much fun together and were so cute.  Every time they saw their kindergarten friends they would get so giggly.  Can't wait to go again next year!


Oct 22nd
Halloween picture day.  After going to a friend's house for studio pictures we went to the pumpkin patch for Mommy pictures.  Sweet Pea doesn't love the studio and so I got better pictures on my own.


Oct 23rd
We were preparing for our second annual harvest party. . .man collecting pumpkins is a lot of work!  Thank goodness the field is close to home. 


Oct 24th
Super hero day at school!  Just say no to drugs!  Who can resist such a cute BatGirl?!?

Oct 9th
The girls pillows for their bedrooms!  I used scrap fabric leftover from other projects.  My first pillows and I'm pretty satisfied with them!

Oct 10th
Homework Homework Homework. . .why does Kindergarten have homework?  At least she still enjoys doing it!


Oct 11th
Another fun day with both girls!!!  This is in the tree outside their kindergarten classroom.  I'm sure I'll be taking pictures for years to come of my kids in this tree!


Oct 12th
My dishcloth drawer has been ransacked!!!!  Apparently every baby needs its own bed and blanket.  This is not an unusually occurrence in our house! Babies babies everywhere!


Oct 13
The girls asked to color and so I got down the markers.  I then went to fold laundry and came back to find this!!!!  She told me she painted her tummy!  Why!?!?!  Miss Sweet Pea is a little mischievous!


Oct 14th
The last of the pink walls.  .bye bye!


Oct 15th
We woke up this morning and I heard a strange sound.  After a minute I realized it was a hot air balloon and it must have been very low over the house!  I threw the girls in the car and we chased it to where it landed about a mile from our house.  So fun!  They were giving ride to kids to go up about 30 feet. . .too bad my girls were too scared (and I was in my jammies!)

Oct 1st
Cabin fun!  We had a quick little trip to the cabin.  Sweet Pea is my little monkey and daredevil!

Oct 2nd
We were invited to a birthday party at Pump it Up.  The girls enjoy going but like staying together.  This was their favorite place to place.  I thought it was so sweet with the two of them holding hands!


Oct 3rd
Look who has Huggy Bear!!!!  This is the biggest treat in kindergarten and she was dying for her turn!!!


Oct 4th
Sweet Pea is becoming my little reader.  She was attached to this book of Peter Rabbit for most of the month of October.  She took it to school, to bed, shopping, church, EVERYWHERE!!!


Oct 5th
Mommy time!  I managed to sneak in some time with my sewing machine.  I wish I had more time to sew since I love it, but life is busy!  I made pillows for my girls bedrooms.  Don't you love my pinchusion???  Thanks JHRME!


Oct 6th
Gotta love the fair!  My friend LD and I took the girls to the fair on afternoon.  They had a blast looking at the animals and playing in the kiddie area.


Oct 7th
Someone is in heaven eating her Churro!  Love this sweet girl!


Oct 8th
Sadly we've missed the park since school has started!  The girls were dying to go so off to our favorite park we went!  Pumpkin loves the big slide!!!

p365- Adios September!

Sept 23rd
Mommy is trying to teach the girls how to push themselves on the swings. . .however the boys are always willing to push them!  Such good cousins!


Sept 24th
Another oops no picture day!  Here's another cute one from their Jog-a-Thon at school.  


Sept 25th
This school year has brought the sponge curlers to our home.  Miss Pumpkin loves having her hair curly in the morning! Tonight was a special night with both girls in Mommy's bed.  They love this special treat!


Sept 26th
After over a year of this unfinished wall it is going away!!!  So happy!  We put in a new window last August and we are beginning the LONG process of painting the living area.  I'm so excited!


Sept 27th
This is what happens when the girls are home with Daddy. . . I believe I left instructions of "they just had a bath- please don't let them get dirty."  She looks happy though! 


Sept 28th
Things you find in the dollhouse.  My favorite part is our boy cousins had been over on this day so I don't know if it was the boys or my girls who did this!


Sept 29th
Family dinner at Red Robin.  We rarely eat out at restaurants and so this was a special treat (we were heading to buy paint for the living room!).  The girls LOVE Red Robin and their kids menu is just perfect for them.  Miss Pumpkin loves their melon and devours it!


Sept 30th
It's Johnny Appleseed Day!  I love kindergarten. . .I think I should switch grade levels!

p365- Friends, cousins, and sweet sleeping girls

Sept 16
Mommy went out for a scrapbook night and LD babysat the girls.  They have so much fun with her!  They always squeal when she comes over.

Sept 17
Sweet sleeping girls!  Snuggled up in Mommy's bed. 

Sept 18
Playing outside after church.  They were driving in Pumpkin's car. 

Sept 19
You know she is sleepy when she falls asleep on the couch!  She is my little energizer bunny. . .going going going! 

Sept 20
Jumping on the big doggie. . .who needs a horse to ride? 

Sept 21
Playing with the magnets Grandma gave the girls.  They kept my girls entertained for days. 

Sept 22
More cousin time!  The girls love that their big boy cousins will push them on the swings.  They are getting spoiled by the boys!

We had a playdate with our girl cousins and some friends from my girl's old preschool.  The six girls were so fun to watch playing together!  


Sept 11th
Sweet Pea in the "jail" of the playhouse.

Sept 12th
I missed taking a photo today, so I decided to find a picture from last year from the same day.  Look how much my girls have changed!  Love these two!

Sept 13th
Pumpkin and I biked/ran to pick up Sweet Pea from her preschool.  I was so impressed with her!  She rode well over a mile and wanted to keep going!  We need to do this more often!

Sept 14th
I spent some time practicing some quilting skills. . .love these pinwheel blocks.  These are 4 1/2 inches completed. . .definitely my smallest blocks I've ever made.


Sept 15th
Pumpkin's first Jog-a-Thon!  She did amazing!  So proud of her!
